August Highs and Lows and "300" Reasons Why We Love Spartans
Stay on Target I just have to say that I can't wait for my wedding day! I won't update you all on what's going on. Just go to DaveandDee.com and you'll get the latest news on our wedding preparations. Over the past few Tuesdays, we've been meeting with our church pastor for pre-marital counseling. For those of you who are thinking of getting married, I would strongly urge you to take some time with your future spouse and get some counseling. These meetings have been so valuable and worthwhile. It has kept us focused on what's important. So often I see couples stress so much with all the wedding preparation that they lose sight of why they're getting married in the first place. Planning a wedding can be very stressful, but it doesn't have to. Dee and I have been very lucky to have found some great people who are more than willing to help and give us suggestions. Only 70+ days to go ... yippee!
Chronic-cle The majority of people in the world hate their jobs. I don't hate my job. Actually, I enjoy it as long as my bosses get off my back. Recently, the heads of our department have made some really horrible decisions - decisions that don't make sense. Sometimes I wonder if they're on drugs (the "chronic", as some may say). I respect what the Chronicle stands for and I still believe in our product. We still provide a valuable resource for people in the Bay Area. But, our paper and the way we're being managed can be so much better. I wish I can say that I want to work for this company forever, but lately, I have been thinking a lot about other options. I would love to open my own business someday. I guess that's everybody's dream. We'll see what happens ...

I'm bubbly! - Little Voice by Sarah Bareilles - Between the Devil and the Sea by Oh No! Oh My! - The happiest CD I've bought in a while. - We Can Create by Maps - The Burning Hour by Test Your Reflex
