Vegas Baby! Vegas!
3 nights isn't long enough to fully see "everything" in Las Vegas. Nevertheless, Dee, the kids, and I had a fun time on our vacation. In 3 years, not much has really changed except for the new buildings and shopping center inside Caesar's Palace, and the newly built Hooters Hotel & Casino. I continue to find Vegas very fascinating. It's truly a city made for tourists.
We stayed at the MGM Grand and although I thought the room was a tad smaller than expected, we were all pretty impressed with their service. We didn't even have to carry our own bags to our room - we were treated how guests were suppossed to be treated. Nice.
The weather was perfect during our vacation. We even spent time at the pools of the hotel, particularly the "Lazy River". The evenings were even more spectacular - perfect for tourists to be out and about. Since this was our 2nd time in Vegas, we were less "starstruck" by all the attractions and the city lights. Although, watching the fountains of the Bellagio still gives me a happy feeling inside. It's my favorite.
Anyway, as much as we enjoyed being away, there's still nothing like being back home. And, it hasn't rained at all. Spring is finally here!

and thanks for getting the mail. our mail man always leaves us bad notes that he will makes us pick up our mail at the post office, "if you don't clean your mailbox out daily". it's only because we signed up to get a ton of magazines from jenn for a school fund raiser. anyway, hope my neighbors weren't having an "angry" night. sadly they seem to fight a lot.
