What Have We Learned?
3 years since the war in Iraq officially started.
3 years of violence, prisoner abuse, insurgents, and a U.S. government thumping its chest as they continue to say that we need to “stay on course”.
3 years of over 2,000 soldiers killed, thousands more wounded, and approximately 30,000 Iraqi’s killed.
3 years with billions already spent with billions more coming out of tax payers’ money in the future.
3 years, and still no detailed exit strategy.
3 years and Donald Rumsfeld still has a job.
3 years, 1 election, 1 constitution, and a country on the brink of civil war.
3 years and our kids will still be paying for the national debt that our generation allowed to grow to the trillions.
3 years and not 1 White House official has taken responsibility for the mistakes and ineptitude of George Bush’s war.
What have we learned from all this? Well, according to our President, Iran is now the enemy. So I ask again, what have we learned from this? Absolutely nothing! What a f***ing waste!

Heh...if I had a penny for every blog you wrote complaining about this... :)
I know ... I'm a whiner.
in times like these, we need to be thankful. God has let these horrible and uncomfortable situations come for a reason. the scripture tells about it all. i think when we start seeing these things happen around us, we need to look up to Christ and do what we were made to do-and that's glorify Him. His Kingdom will come like a theif at night. don't get caught up with your pants down. i think you had a couple of pretty interesting debates about these political agendas but just don't get caught up in it.
